A York Regional Police cruiser was struck in a collision in Aurora that involved three vehicles yesterday evening.
The officer was en route to a call when, at about 7:28 p.m. Oct. 29, the cruiser was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Yonge Street and St. John’s Sideroad, police said. A third vehicle was caught in the collision.
“The officer and three others involved in the collision were taken to a local hospital as a precaution,” said Const. Kevin Nebrija.
The vehicles sustained minor damage and the roads were closed for about two hours for the investigation.
No charges have been laid at this time, he said.
